Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Regional Variation
We may contact you regarding the substitution of products due to regional variation in materials.
Delivery
Delivery Charges
- Orders with a sales value of over £75 (excluding VAT) will be delivered free of additional charge.
- Orders with a sales value of £75 or less (excluding VAT) will be charged a delivery cost of £15 (excluding VAT).
- All orders must be signed for on delivery.
- An additional charge will be made if orders have to be redelivered.
- If delivery is deferred then you may incur charges for storage.
- Where goods are returned a restocking fee of 25% of the sales value will be payable. Please note that carriage will not be refunded.
- No made to measure products will be refunded.
- The purchaser must ensure that there is reasonable access to the delivery site. If this is not available an additional charge may be made.

If you do make an order via the website to one of these areas, please be aware that there may be an additional charge or delay in delivery. You will of course be contacted in advance by a member of our sales team to inform you of this. In rare cases, because of not having any stock in a distribution depot near you, or for other reasons, it may not be possible to fulfill your order, in which case you will receive a full, no questions asked refund. We must stress, however, that Condell Ltd are committed to full customer satisfaction and will always do our best to complete your order.
Direct Orders and Site Deliveries
The Company will despatch goods direct to a third party or site at the Purchaser's request. Goods sent to a third party or to a site are despatched at the Purchaser's risk.
Special Routing
Goods will be sent by any special route or carriers at the Purchaser's request. All goods so despatched are sent at the Purchaser's risk and any carriage and expenses incurred will be charged to the Purchaser.
Carriage
Carriage and haulage will be agreed and charged as appropriate.
Risk
The risk in the goods shall pass to the Purchaser on delivery.
Delivery Schedule
- A preferred delivery date can be entered when ordering the goods. These will be adhered to where ever possible.
- The delivery date will be confirmed with the confirmation that the order has been accepted.
- Any delivery dates or periods quoted by the Company are estimates only, given in good faith and the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damages whether direct or consequential resulting from any failure to meet such delivery dates or periods. All goods shall be delivered to the Purchaser's premises in the United Kingdom and risk in the goods shall pass on such delivery. Goods offered from stock are offered subject to their still being available when the Purchaser's order is received.
Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period
Consumers' rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.
This states that consumers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:
- where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred
- where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred
- where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.
Where goods are returned more than 7 days after delivery, a restocking fee of 25% of the sales value will be payable. Please note that carriage will not be refunded.
Items returned because they are damaged, defective or incorrect
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or, in accordance with our returns policy, because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.
Condell Ltd will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
Special Order and Made-to-Measure Products
Special order and made-to-measure products may NOT be returned unless they are deemed to be faulty or have been damaged in transit. (Please see details above concerning the return of faulty or damaged products).
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
